I’m a total daydreamer and find inspiration everywhere, that’s just the way my brain works, so when I saw this mural I instantly knew what look I wanted to shoot there. When I was in high school I took an Art-Advertisement Design class and really enjoyed pop art, I still do, so when I saw this wall I knew I wanted go with my 60’s inspired polka dot shift dress. I think some people might be a little intimidated by the huge white polka dots and white booties, but it works and I absolutely love it. We can’t be afraid to play with prints and silhouettes; this look is both comfortable and fun. I added a lavender trench coat for contrast and of course my looks are never complete without sunnies. Londres 1966

Vivo soñando despierta y por lo tanto encuentro inspiración en todas partes, sencillamente así es como funciona mi cerebro. Al ver este mural supe instantáneamente el atuendo que quería fotografiar. Cuando estuve en la escuela secundaria tomé una clase de arte con enfoque en diseño publicitario y desde entonces me gusta mucho el arte pop. Este mural me encanto y supe que quería usar mi vestido con estampado de bolas gigantes inspirado en los sesentas. Pienso que a algunos puede que les intimide el estampado y las botas blancas, a mí me encantan. Es un estilo cómodo y muy divertido. Agregue una gabardina color lavanda pastel para hacer un contraste, y claro unos lentes de sol, porque como se podrán dar cuenta no vivo sin ellos. This week’s recommendation:

This week I had the best donut of my life! We shot this look at Row DTLA, and when we were done we walked over to Café Dulce for a well-deserved coffee break. I saw the cutest donut in their display case and had to try it. I love donuts, if you didn’t know, now you know (I blame my father). This donut was topped with Fruity Pebbles, it took me back to my childhood, and it was perfect. You have to try it! Here’s their info:

¡Esta semana me comí la mejor dona de mi vida! Tomamos las fotos en Row DTLA, y cuando terminamos hicimos parada en Café Dulce para tomarnos un café bien merecido. Vi una dona muy bonita en su vitrina y obvio tuve que probarla. Me encantan las donas, si no lo sabían, pues ya lo saben (culpo a mi papá).
