Comfort is very important while traveling, that however, does not mean we should sacrifice style. There are a few things to consider while planning our outfit: Long wait times, sudden changes in temperature etc., it’s important to dress accordingly:  Shoes- For security purposes you will most likely have to take off your shoes, pick shoes you can take off and put back on easily.  Comfortable, you might have to run from one terminal to another if your airline decides to make sudden changes (it happened to me in Atlanta!), you don’t want to miss your flight, been there, done that.  For this flight, I chose some beautiful loafers from Zara.  Pants- I cannot stress this enough, they should be comfortable.  I chose some high-waisted soft denim jeans from Forever 21 with plenty of stretch.  This way, you will be able to handle hours sitting on a plane.  Shirt-I like to wear a long sleeve loose-fitting shirt, preferably 100% cotton.  Unlike polyester for example, cotton breaths, and it works well for any temperature.  You’ll be fine if the plane is stuffy or cold.  This one is from H&M and was a great deal, very comfortable and with a classic print.  Hand Bag- A large bag is convenient, one where you can fit your laptop, phone, chargers, wallet, a good book, and important documents.  I prefer a bag, but a backpack works well too.  I got mine from a Coach outlet on sale for $100 (USD), a classic piece and good investment I think.  Luggage- This is something people often overlook, please don’t sacrifice your style even with luggage!  I love black luggage, they are so elegant.  No matter how much I try, I can’t travel light and so I found some that are very light weight, good quality, and practically walk themselves at a very affordable price.  As per usual, I will link my favorites down below.  There are a million options but for today, this is MY EDITION, Dear Jetsetter.

Querida Viajante,

Viajar cómoda es muy importante, pero eso no quiere decir que hay que perder el estilo.  Hay varios factores que debemos considerar al escoger nuestra vestimenta para viajar: Largas esperas, cambios de clima etc., es importante vestirse de acuerdo a ello.  Zapatos-Lo más seguro es que por medidas de seguridad te tengas que quitar los zapatos, escoge unos que te puedas poner y quitar facilmente.  Cómodos, puede que tengas que correr de una sala a otra si la aerolínea decide hacer cambios repentinos (¡me paso en el aeropuerto de Atlanta!).  Hoy escogí unos de Zara muy pero muy monos.  Pantalón- No me cansare de decirlo, todas tus prendas tienen que ser cómodas.  Para mí el ideal es un pantalón de mezclilla negra, suave, y que estire fácilmente, de tiro alto, así no te incomodara si tienes que pasar horas sentada en un avión. El que escogí para este vuelo es de Forever 21.  Blusa- No ajustada, de manga larga, y 100% algodón.  Este material respira y no te va a acalorar, te puedes doblar las mangas si te es más cómodo, estarás bien ya sea que el avión este frio o caluroso.  La mía es de H&M, es súper cómoda, y tiene un estampado clásico. Bolsa de mano- Una bolsa grande, donde te quepa tu computadora, teléfono, cargadores, cartera, un buen libro, y documentos importantes.  Yo prefiero bolsa de mano, pero una mochila funciona bien también.  Mi bolsa la compre en oferta en Coach, $100 (USD) muy bien invertidos creo yo.  Equipaje- ¡Ni aquí hay que perder el estilo!  Las maletas negras me parecen muy elegantes y son las que uso, de material ligero, y llantas fáciles de maniobrar, casi caminan solas.  Por más que lo intento, no puedo viajar ligera, y estas maletas de It Luggage me parecieron de muy buena calidad y a muy buen precio.  Como siempre, abajo les dejo los datos de mis favoritos.  Hay mil opciones, pero hoy, esta es MI EDICION, Querida Viajante.

This week’s recommendation:

I have a fear of flying, but I play it cool.  I will never let my fears stop me from doing anything.  I do however need a little liquid courage, so I usually drink two tequilas at the airport before boarding a plane (don’t judge me!).  This time to my surprise I found a winery, La Cava de Don Chava in Tijuana’s International Airport.  Some of my favorite wines are from Baja California so I switched the tequila for a glass of Cabernet.  Delicious! Mi recomendación de la semana:

No me gusta viajar en avión, la verdad me da mucho miedo, pero no por eso voy a dejar de hacerlo.  Jamás dejare que mis miedos me limiten.  Ah, pero eso si, por lo regular me tomo dos tequilas en el aeropuerto antes de abordar (¡no me juzguen!).  Esta vez me lleve una grata sorpresa al encontrar La Cava de Don Chava en el aeropuerto internacional de Tijuana, ya que algunos de mis vinos favoritos son de Baja California. Hoy cambie el tequila por una copa de Cabernet.  ¡Delicia!
