A nice denim skirt was hard to find, it was never the right fit, always too tight or too short, and never the right style. Finally, a few weeks ago while I was on a Target run, I found it! Yes, at Target. We all know those Target trips can be dangerous, and so I purposely avoid certain sections sometimes, but I was simply walking by and the skirt jumped out at me, seriously. I had to try it on, and voila, I was in love (yes, I tend to fall in love with stuff on a weekly basis). The skirt is knee-length which keeps it classy, buttons down the front, front pockets and tied waist. I styled it with a red thin stripped t-shirt from Zara, I love the red and indigo combination. A Gap denim jacket, a lighter shade, not like Justin and Britney! (my generation will get it, haha) And my favorite white leather Chucks. What is it about Chucks? The older they are the better they look, and you can pretty much wear them with anything. I love the result and feel like I totally belong in a vintage Coca Cola ad. Special appearance by Scooby Bear, my little sidekick and loyal companion, so without further ado, here is MY EDITION of the modern vintage.

Antiguo Moderno
Una falda de mezclilla no fue fácil de encontrar, siempre muy ajustadas, muy cortas, y el mismo estilo aburrido en mi opinión. Pero por fin (después de años) en una de mis vueltas a Target ¡la encontré! Si, en Target. Todos sabemos que esas idas a Target suelen ser peligrosas, y por eso evito entrar a ciertas secciones, pero caminaba por uno de los pasillos y la falda simplemente capto mi atención casi casi salió una luz del cielo. Me la probé y me enamore (yo sé, me enamoro de algo semanalmente). La falda llega a la rodilla, este largo se me hace de muy buen gusto, botones y bolsas al frente, y cinturón en la cintura. La combine con una camiseta de rayas rojas de Zara, me encanta la combinación del rojo con índigo, una chamarra de Gap también de mezclilla, pero en un tono más claro, ¡no como Justin y Britney! (mi generación lo entenderá jajaja) y mis Converse de cuero blancos. Los Converse son como el buen vino, entre más viejos mejor, y se ven bien con todo. Me encanto el resultado final y me siento modelo de anuncio de Coca Cola antiguo. Aparición estelar: Scooby Bear, mi fiel compañero. Esta es MI EDICION del antiguo moderno.

I try my best to eat healthy and live a healthy lifestyle, because quite frankly, I love carbs. So today I decided to have Amazebowls for breakfast instead of my weekly pancakes, and it was the perfect fruit bowl. I had the Coconut Amazebowl “do it for the ‘gram” the menu said, so I did. Trato de ser muy consiente en mis hábitos alimenticios, y trato de ser muy saludable porque la verdad me encantan los carbohidratos. Por eso, esta semana decidí desayunar en Amazebowls en vez de mis panqueques semanales. Ordené el Amazebowl en coco, “para el Instagram” dice el menú, y pues lo hice. ¡Que delicia!
