Lately I’ve had a crazy obsession for blazers, I love them for their versatility. A blazer can be styled with slacks, jeans, skirts, dresses, or whatever you feel like. This means that you can dress them up or dress them down. I think it’s important to mention that for me clothes are not disposable and I love getting the most use out of them, all you need is a little creativity and the sky is the limit! I chose this blazer for its power suit look, classic plaid print, and eighties vibes (fun!). It was very windy in LA so I styled it with jeans to go out for brunch. And what can I say about these sunnies, it was love at first sight! They totally complete this look, they are fun yet classy, but let’s be real, $450.00 (USD) for YSL sunnies are not realistic for most (at least not for me). I took it upon myself to find them on a real girl’s budget and here they are! This time I chose my Steve Madden Cormac heels for this look which are now sold out, but I’ll link similar ones below, white sneakers work great too I’ll leave the ones I have below too. Casual y Sofisticada, pero jamás aburrida…
Últimamente tengo una obsesión por los sacos, me encantan por versátiles. Un saco se puede usar con pantalón de vestir, mezclilla, falda, vestido, o con lo que se te antoje. Lo cual quiere decir que lo puedes usar de manera casual o formal. Cabe mencionar que para mí la ropa no es desechable, y me gusta sacar el mayor provecho a todas mis prendas. Escogí este saco por su estampado y silueta clásica, sofisticado, pero con una vibra ochentera. Decidí usarlo de una manera casual, con pantalón de mezclilla para ir a desayunar. ¡Y que les puedo decir de los lentes de sol, cuando los vi por primera vez me enamoré! Le dan el toque final a este atuendo, divertidos pero clásicos y elegantes a la vez. Pero honestamente, $450.00(USD) por unos lentes de sol YSL no está en el presupuesto de muchas (por mas enamorada que este de ellos), así que me di a la tarea de buscarlos en un presupuesto realista y aquí los tienen, porque obvio, querer es poder. Esta vez decidí agregar un pequeño tacón, pero unos tenis blancos también funcionan muy bien (abajo les dejo el dato de los que yo uso), y pues sin alargarles más el cuento, aquí les dejo MI EDICION de este estilo casual y sofisticado, ¡pero jamás aburrido!, y como siempre, en un presupuesto realista.

Since my sister and I were already strolling through Melrose Avenue (because why not be a tourist in your own city), we decided to have brunch at one of my favorite places Blu Jam Café. I got their Huevos Rancheros (#MexicanProblems haha!) and they are literally a piece of heaven in every bite. They are not your mom’s typical huevos rancheros, this is THEIR VERSION and they are perfection. Of course, you can’t go to Blu Jam Café and not have their Crunchy French Toast, it’s their signature dish and my personal favorite, but since that’s my go to, this time I opted for something different. Ya que mi hermana y yo estábamos paseando en Melrose Avenue (nos encanta ser turistas en nuestra propia ciudad), decidimos ir a desayunar a uno de mis lugares favoritos Blu Jam Café. Yo pedí los huevos rancheros (porque obvió #MexicanProblems jajaja) y que les puedo decir…son perfección, un pedazo de cielo en cada mordida. ¡No son los típicos huevos rancheros de tu mama, son SU VERSION, y son una delicia! También cabe mencionar que no puedes ir a Bue Jam Café y no probar el Crunchy French Toast, su platillo estrella y mis favoritos, pero como siempre los pido, esta vez opte por algo diferente (según yo).
